and now to my update...

I just wanted to let you all know, this will be my last week co-hosting Share Your Style. Nothing dramatic going on, my health is staying stable, but my life is changing, as it has a habit to do. Traveling with my Hubby and some family things are on the horizon, and I know I need to dedicate more time to those things. I'll still be posting, I just can't keep a weekly time schedule. Stepping down frees me up to post when it's easier, and hopefully no pressure. Don't worry about me, you all that have been with me over 6 years know I tell it like it is. I hope you'll still come visit me, and I hope you'll link up all the fun and inspiration with one of the other seven great bloggers who are still participating in Share Your Style. Thanks to the other co-hosts of Share Your Style!
And thanks to all my readers, you know how much I love you guys! OK, hard part done...

So now,
Let's get on with the party!

A little more "Fall"

 Hi there friends...Happy Monday!
 I hope you all had a great weekend!
 Yesterday the temps finally dropped and it really started to feel like
  Fall...

 it put me in the mood to do a little more Fall decorating!
 On Friday I stopped at a local orchard to pick up these pretty
 pumpkins and funny looking gourds.

 I wanted to use them for a centerpiece on my dining room table.
 I started by using one of the grain sacks I bought at the
  Country Living Fair this past June.
 Wasn't sure what I was going to use for the base...then I
 remembered the tobacco baskets I ordered from Decor Steals a few months ago.

These gourds are pretty big so I grabbed the large one.
I added some raffia on the bottom before I started to arrange them...
then added a chippy candlestick for some height and topped it with
 small white pumpkin.

  On my wicker trunk in the living room I added a rust colored mum to an old copper container...
along with a few more baby boos.
  On the blue chest I simply swapped out the orchard I had in the silver champagne bucket for a little mum and a few more baby boos...
I'm really loving the white ones this year!

   Just a little more "Fallin" around!
Have a super week!

~Welcoming Fall~

 Welcome Friends!
First I would like to give a big thank you to Brenda from
Cozy Little House for putting together and hosting this bloggers
Fall Home Tour...
I am honored to be one of the 28 bloggers participating!
~~~
 Today I'll be sharing how I decorated our entry and mantel for Fall.
Welcome to our Home!
 I've had this hanging basket on our front door from the beginning of summer and simply changed out the lavender for some natural elements...a simple change that says Fall!
 I added some pumpkins...
 ...and a pretty mum that I stuck in an apple basket.
 Now let's head on in...
 I added a matching color mum to the small chest inside and placed it in this antique planter.
 I continued the natural look into our family room on the mantel.
 The mirror always has center stage on the mantel...I love a layered look so I added an antique painting and print against the mirror.
The ginger jars usually sit empty on the mantel...I had plenty of dried eucalyptus and wheat grass left over so I filled the jars with it...
I love the way it looks!
  A few baby boo pumpkins to finish off the look!
 I love using these little guys around the house...so I added one in the bird nest under the cloche too :-)
Thanks so much for stopping by today...
I hope you enjoyed your visit!!
